candor is one spec with several engines. The contract version moves as a ladder — the reference engine (candor-java) leads a rung, the others implement it in turn, and a shared conformance suite pins the floor. Each engine’s major.minor is the spec it declares; the patch floats per engine. Below: every engine’s latest release and its full changelog, kept with the code on GitHub.
The contract is currently spec v0.24 — every engine here declares it.
01 The engines
Latest version fetched live at build time (with a committed fallback). The changelog for each lives in its repo — ⚠ there marks a verdict-affecting entry (regenerate baselines across it).

02 The spec
The contract itself — the report envelope, the effect vocabulary, the AS-EFF
codes, and the pinned tool surfaces — versions independently of any one engine. Its changelog is a
one-line-per-rung index over the authoritative SPEC §8.
03 The integration surface
Adoption & integration surface — CI workflows, IDE clients, the effects-fingerprint. It isn’t a versioned release — it pins the engines it targets — so its changelog is dated, most recent first.
